Our guest is Edie Weinstein, who in her own words is a Renaissance Woman and Bliss Mistress who delights in inviting people to live rich, full, juicy lives. Edie is an internationally recognized, sought after, talented journalist, interviewer and author, an inspiring speaker, licensed social worker, bliss coach & interfaith minister.

I have personally been aware of Edie's amazing light and skills since the late eighties  when here in the Philadephia region she  co – published a wonderful uplifting magazine called Visions. Her amazing interviews with the masterful wisdom sharers of the time such as Ram Dass and Dan Millman were life changers for myself and so many of her readers. Nowadays Edie speaks on the subjects of wellness, relationships, spirituality, sexuality, creativity, time management, recovery, body image, mind-fullness, self esteem, stress management, re-creating yourself, recovery from trauma, caring for the caregiver, loss & grief. She also offers BLISS Coaching via skype or in person.

"What I teach these days, both in my writing and speaking encourages people to begin where they are and take those next steps and sometimes leaps into the lives of their dreams and desires."

I invite them to look at what's right about their life circumstances and not merely what's wrong and then use those bits and pieces to build a life worthy of them. I recently took a leap into my new life by leaving a full time job as a social worker in a psychiatric hospital where I had  been employed for 11 years, so that I can engage full out in the work that I love. Touring in support of my book The Bliss Mistress, teaching professsionals and the public, speaking in all sorts of venues, writing articles about life transformation." 

She was recently featured in Origin Magazine  as a community leader. She is the author of The Bliss Mistress Guide To Transforming The Ordinary Into The Extraordinary, published by Balboa Press which is a subsidiary of Hay House. Edie is a contributor to Beliefnet, with her daily Bliss Blog
