Our guest,  Don Theune, has turned what is for most a “hobby” into a vocation and a business. Building plastic model cars and air planes started as a fad in the ‘50s and ‘60s and quickly evolved into a hobby that lives on today.

Most boys go through a model building phase. Some get pretty good and a few become very good. Don Theune of Narberth, Pennsylvania came into the model building arena as an adult and took what is for many just a  hobby, and raised the skill to a very professional level.

Don took his thorough knowledge of Corvettes, muscle cars, and drag racing cars, combined his knack for hyper details, and poured it into his approach to building models. The end results are museum quality, custom created models that Don calls, “Scale Visions.”
