Topic: Edward Leedskalnin’s Coral Castle, in Miami, Florida. Joe Bullard made a return visit to share with us more of the Coral Castle story. The device that Leedskalnin used can be seen today, in place at the Castle, but is not functional. The Coral Castle story isn’t all rainbows and unicorns. No, Leedskalnin was so “on to something” that late one night thugs gave him a serious beating to “convince” him that he needed to abandon his pursuit of a U.S. Patent for his magnetic device. So, Ed just moved all of his stones 10 miles away from the very rural Florida City to its current, more populated location near Miami.

Ed had the stones transported on flatbed trucks, but used his device to put the stones on to the truck, all by himself! And that’s just PART of the mystery!

This huge stone castle was built in the early 1900’s and yet is reminiscent of older archeological finds in Europe such as Stonehenge. Scott and Joe discuss more of the intriguing evidence left behind by the Castle’s creator, Ed Leedskalnin. Modern engineers can only loosely speculate, and yet still today, can not verify the true building methods used. Ed Leedskalin was able to utilize a forgotten skill and never told a soul about his secret engineering methods. Some of the stones Leedskalnin carved at Coral Castle weighed as much six tons, yet he was said to have moved them there himself, and witnesses claim to have seen him levitating the stones like balloons. Did he learn how to levitate stones in his childhood  home of Latvia?

This is an amazing, mind boggling, miraculous story. Interestingly, Ed was ill as a young man and became interested in reading arcane books on such subjects as electromagnetism, and mathematics. Joe Bullard believes Leedskanin may have uncovered the lost science of the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge. Do not miss this fascinating interview!

Joe Bullard was born in Florida in 1951. He attended the University of West Florida and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 1974. He discovered the amazing  Coral Castle on the television series called “In Search Of” in September of 1984. While Joe worked at Lake City Community College as Public Information Director and Professor of  journalism, Joe spent 10 years researching at Coral Castle. It was a labor of love. He started writing his Coral Castle book, Waiting for Agnes in February of 1995. It took him five years to get the story on paper and almost four years to publish it.
